Tate Metalworks in Roebuck, South Carolina, is now hiring experienced FCAW Welders for weekday shifts to start immediately.
 

About the Job

Duties of the Shop Welder include, but are not limited to: fitting, welding, and assembling plate structures in the Tate Metalworks fabrication and manufacturing facility near Spartanburg, S.C. Weekday welders work Monday through Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (For weekend hours, see our job posting). 

Employee Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience in FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) welding. Those without experience should visit our job posting for Welder Trainees
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Kneeling, bending, and lifting
  • Working on feet all day long
  • Climbing ladders
  • Tack with FCAW


Pay and Benefits

Salary is negotiable based on experience and results of weld testing.

Before hiring, a Physical, Drug Screen, and Criminal Background Check are required. Random drug testing may be conducted on all Associates.
