As the demand for cleaner fuels increases and renewed efforts for decarbonization grows, one viable resource that has continued to gain popularity is Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). The biggest resources for RNG are landfills, agriculture waste, and food waste. As organic matter breaks down methane, biogas is created. Instead of this harmful biogas being emitted into the environment, it is captured. Before the biogas becomes RNG it must be purified to remove CO2, O2, N2, H2S and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

What is Tate Metalworks role in RNG? Tate Metalworks designed, engineered, and fabricated the ASME Pressure Vessels used to purify biogas, allowing RNG to be used as a valuable energy resource.

We are proud to have partnered with our client who is playing a major role in RNG across the country.
